Risk Disclosure & Profile Guide

Effective April 2026 — Review before selecting a risk profile

1. What is DeBrakke DayTrading SaaS?

DeBrakke DayTrading SaaS is an automated trading strategy that runs on a hosted server. Users connect their MetaTrader 5 account via the DT Connector EA, which sends market data to the server. The server applies its strategy logic and sends back trade instructions (buy, sell, modify, close) which are executed directly in the user's MT5 account.

All trading decisions are made by the strategy engine. No human intervention occurs during normal operation. Users select a risk profile that controls the position sizing used by the strategy — this is the primary lever available to users.

Trading involves substantial risk of loss.

Automated trading strategies, including this one, can and do lose money. Past performance in backtesting or forward testing is not indicative of future results. Only trade with capital you can afford to lose entirely.

2. The Two Risk Profiles

When you attach the DT Connector EA, you select one of two risk profiles from the dropdown. Both profiles use the same underlying SaaS V1.0.2 strategy engine but target different account sizes and risk/reward levels.

Profile Min. Account Base Lot (at min) Max Lot Bal DD (max, 6yr) Status
Default USD 1 000 0.07 0.39 4.25% ✓ DeBrakke Approved
YOLO USD 10 000 0.07 0.15 Higher ⚠ High Risk

Base lot applies at the minimum recommended account balance. Lots scale linearly with balance via auto-compounding up to the max lot cap. Balance DD figures are from 6-year EURUSD M1 backtests (2020–2026, $1,000 deposit, 1:1000 leverage, SaaS V1.0.2 Champion settings). Equity drawdown is higher than balance drawdown during active DCA recovery — balance always recovers when the basket closes.

3. The Default Profile — SaaS V1.0.2 Champion

Default — Recommended for most users (USD 1 000+ account)

The Default profile represents the SaaS V1.0.2 Champion settings, validated across 6 years including all known danger periods. It is the only profile DeBrakke actively recommends for new users.

Default (SaaS V1.0.2)

Buy-only DCA strategy on EURUSD M1. Entry requires H4 EMA 750-period trend alignment plus D1 and M15 zone confirmation — keeping the entry filter highly selective. Position sizing uses per-layer lot scaling: L0 = 1×, L1 = 2.5×, L2 = 10×, L3 = 20×, L4 = 40× base lot. The weighted average entry after L2 opens is only 35 pips below L0 — a 17-pip bounce crosses break-even on the basket.

6-year backtest results (EURUSD M1, 2020-01-01 to 2026-04-21, $1,000 deposit): Net Profit $41,808 · Sharpe Ratio 4.46 · Profit Factor 4.74 · Win Rate 62.93% · 321 trades · Balance DD maximal 4.25% · Equity DD maximal 21.39% (DCA dips, balance holds). Sub-period validation: 2024 (hardest year) +$857, Bal DD 4.84%; 2026 YTD +$376, Bal DD 5.01%. Balance drawdown never exceeded 5.2% in any tested sub-period.

4. YOLO Mode

⚠ High Risk — Recommended starting balance USD 10 000

YOLO uses a higher-frequency configuration with a proportionally higher drawdown profile. Only use this profile if you have a $10,000+ account and fully understand and accept the higher risk.

YOLO

Higher trade frequency and profit potential at the cost of higher drawdown. Uses the same SaaS V1.0.2 engine with more aggressive parameters. Recommended only for experienced traders who have first observed the Default profile's behaviour on a demo account and who can sustain significant adverse equity swings during DCA recovery periods. Do not run this profile on accounts below USD 10,000.

5. General Trading Risks

The following risks apply to all profiles, including the approved ones:

Market Risk

Forex and CFD markets can move sharply and unpredictably in response to economic data, geopolitical events, central bank decisions, or unexpected news. No strategy can anticipate or fully protect against all market conditions. The strategy may perform differently in future market regimes compared to its historical testing period.

Connectivity & Technical Risk

The strategy depends on a stable internet connection between your MT5 terminal and the DT SaaS server. If the connection is interrupted, the EA will not be able to receive trade instructions. Existing open positions will remain on your account with their existing stop-loss and take-profit levels but will not be actively managed until connectivity is restored.

Broker & Execution Risk

Trade execution quality varies by broker. Requotes, slippage, spread widening during news events, and swap rates all affect actual performance versus strategy signals. Results will differ across brokers. Always test with a demo account before going live with any broker.

Over-optimisation Risk

Strategy parameters have been optimised on historical data. As with any backtested system, there is a risk that the parameters are tuned to past conditions that may not persist. Forward performance may deviate from historical results.
